[GUIDE] TM ATA & RG Configuration (D-Link / Allwintech)

Working reference for provisioning TM ATA units (D-Link / Allwintech) together with the RG.
Covers device access, RG VLAN setup, SIP registration and the physical connection order.

Order of work

1. Configure the ONU
2. Configure the RG — set port 4 to VLAN 400, service type Internet
3. For business lines, set port 4 to VLAN 400 and service type Internet
4. Reset and configure the ATA
5. Set the user ID / account to [email protected]

1. ATA device access

ATA 4 Port — D-Link DVG-5004S

Code: Select all

IP address : http://192.168.100.1
Username   : tmadmin
Password   : Ata4Port$

ATA 8 Port — Allwin H380S / D-Link

Code: Select all

ATA 16 Port — Allwintech

2. RG configuration

RG4 (Silver)

Code: Select all

IP address : 192.168.0.1
Username   : operator
Password   : Opr@**** ( last 4 digits of the router MAC address )

Then:

• Setup → Add
• Channel: Bridge
• Connection type: Voice
• Enable VLAN, VLAN ID 400
• Port mapping: select LAN 3 only
• Apply Change

RG — TP-Link (black)
Set the laptop to a static address first:

IP      : 192.168.0.100
Subnet  : 255.255.255.0
Gateway : 192.168.0.1

Browse to 192.168.0.1, then Advanced → Network → VLAN:

• LAN 4: VOIP
• VLAN ID: 400

RG — Unifi
Same laptop addressing as above, then browse to 192.168.0.1:

Username : operator
Password : h566UniF

• Setup → WAN → edit VLAN 500 → Port binding: untick LAN3 → Apply
• Setup → WAN → Add:
  • Enable WAN: tick
  • Connection type: Bridge
  • Service type: Internet
  • Port binding: LAN 3
  • Enable VLAN tagging: tick, VLAN ID 400, priority 0
  • Apply

3. SIP registration on the ATA

Enable SIP on Server 1, then set the account. The account is the phone number with the IMS domain appended:

Password          : per-line, from the provisioning record

Tick Register on the FXS port, enter the account in the same format, then the line password.

SIP proxy settings

Code: Select all

Proxy server IP / domain    : 10.225.0.1
Proxy server port           : 5060
Proxy server realm          : ims.tm.com.my
TTL (registration interval) : 3600
SIP domain                  : ims.tm.com.my
Use domain to register      : tick
Bind proxy interval for NAT : 0

Additional options

• Initial unregister: tick
• Support Message Waiting Indication (MWI): tick
• MWI subscribe interval: 7200
• Accept

Save and restart

• Save setting: tick
• Restart: tick
• Accept → Reboot

4. Physical connections

Code: Select all

ONU LAN1  ->  RG WAN port
RG LAN4   ->  ATA WAN port
